May Industry sales grew +1.5%, in-line with slower April against a tougher comp.
Spirits data in Nielsen tracked xAOC (food, drug, mass WMT) increased +1.5% for the four weeks ending May 25. Price/mix was again healthy at +3.5%, an acceleration over last year's +2.1%. Volume declined 1.9% lapping a +6.4% year-ago comp, perhaps reflecting the impact of pricing in the market.
