Human Resources Business Partner
Position Overview:
 
The Human Resources Business Partner – Talent Acquisition & Retention is responsible for full cycle recruitment including posting open requisitions, sourcing talent, screening candidates, coordinating interviews and new hire onboarding. Work alongside the Human Resources Manager to move talent from requisition generation to fully assimilated employee. Special projects as assigned.
 
Key Accountabilities:
 
  • Drive the organizations talent acquisition process from requisition generation to “candidate” to “employee”
  • Provide guidance to hiring managers through internal and external recruitment strategy
Development
  • Create recruiting plan to promote relationships with various universities & industry partners to increase diversity candidate pool; work with Marketing/Graphics to create a strong branded presence for external partnerships
  • Create a positive first impression of Martignetti Companies through all recruitment sources (job postings, career fairs, website, interview process, etc.)
  • Proactively build relationships by phone/email using job boards and social media sites to generate awareness and candidate flow
  • Prepare internal/external job postings for all positions. Respond to applicants and assist
managers with scheduling interviews
  • Ensure all required paperwork and documentation is completed for all candidates throughout the sourcing and pre-employment processes
  • Create personnel files and follows new hire checklist to ensure all steps are completed
  • Administer I9 documentation/employee background screening via online portal
  • Coordinate new hire pre-employment checks (background checks and physical/drug screenings) with assigned vendors
  • Prepare and send offer letter packages to new employees
  • Welcome new employees to the organization by conducting orientation as well as following up within first 60 days to ensure successful onboarding
  • Maintain recruitment files and job descriptions
  • Reinforce company culture and work to support a positive work environment and morale among staff
  • Escalate issues as needed to other members of the Human Resources team
  • Create HR training videos with Knowledge Vision
  • Assist Human Resources Manager with various research projects and/or special projects

Education/Experience/Training:
 
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education and experience
  • 2-5 years of Human Resources Generalist/Talent Acquisition experience required
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Working knowledge of Payroll/HRIS/ATS systems preferred
