Graphic Designer
Position Overview:
The Graphic Designer is responsible for designing and developing POS/graphics and layouts for our suppliers, customers, and corporate office.
Key Accountabilities:
  • Create designs, concepts and sample layouts based on knowledge of layout principals and esthetic design concepts.
  • Draw and print charts, graphs, illustrations, and other artwork, using computer graphics software packages or other mediums.
  • Communicate artistic themes in flyers, posters, drink lists, handbooks, or other company presentation materials for our customers and suppliers.
  • Assemble final layouts to prepare layouts for printer.
  • Review final layouts and suggest improvements as needed.
  • Handle production work which entails photo copying, cutting, folding, mounting, and laminating
  • Maintain computer files
  • Manage the equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, troubleshooting malfunctions and calling in repairs.
  • Meet all required timelines with quality work
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to concentrate in a loud office setting
  • Ability to meet time sensitive deadlines
  • Ability to lift 30 or more pounds
  • Team Player who collaborates well with others
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Certificate in Graphic Design
  • 1 year of experience with computer design and layout programs required; 3 – 4 years preferred  
  • Experience with In Design, Photoshop, and Illustrator preferred
